I can't think of a more perfect demonstration of antisemitism in the animal rights movement than this article full of conspiracy theory nonsense denying that Hamas is a terrorist organization equivalent to ISIS and accusing Israel of murdering its own people. You are an embarrassment.

Thank you, Harrison Nathan, for taking the time to comment. I understand the topic evokes strong feelings. I welcome dialogue and would be sincerely interested in any evidence-based sources you’d like to share that directly counter the ones I cited - particularly those from Haaretz, Times of Israel, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and interviews with journalists such NY Times war correspondent, Chris Hedges.

If you believe these outlets - many Israeli or mainstream Western sources - are peddling "conspiracy theory nonsense," I’d be curious to understand what qualifies as credible in your view.

As for your comment that I’m an “embarrassment” - well, I suppose I’d rather be caught with my bare-assed integrity showing than fully suited in silence while mass death is spun into marketing for war. Embarrassment, like beauty, may be in the eye of the beholder.

The charge of antisemitism is a serious one, and I’m grateful that activists like Donny Moss have opened space for difficult conversations. My criticism is of state policy, militarism, and the use of disinformation to justify mass slaughter - not of any people, religion, or ethnic group. If we care about justice for all sentient beings, then truth, however uncomfortable, must remain part of our movement.

I remain open to dialogue - respectful, evidence-based dialogue. That’s how movements grow stronger and truer.

Warmly,
Nancy
